The Verona High School Music Department will hold its 2010 Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the VHS auditorium. The concert is free and Band Director Erik Lynch is promising a night of “passionate music making”.

The evening will feature performances by the VHS Jazz Choir, Concert Choir, and Concert Band. “This will be a memorable evening of artistic expression,” Lynch says, “and I can guarantee that you will forget that you are listening to a group of high school musicians!”

If you need a reminder of just how good these kids are, we offer two samples from this season’s performances. The first is from the Concert Band, the second from the Concert Choir, both courtesy of Rick Foy.
