The National Weather Service has issued a flash food watch for Essex County and surrounding areas of northern New Jersey as a result of heavy rainfall expected Monday. Snow Day!
Just kidding–the schools are already closed. But the snow has started falling much earlier than expected, and is expected to continue through the early evening. The National Weather Service is now calling for an accumulation of 1 to 3 inches in our area.
