The Verona Hillbillies football team is holding a car wash this Saturday, August 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Verona High School. The suds will be flying by the front entrance on Fairview Avenue. The cost is whatever you want to donate to the team.
Former VHS French Teacher Dies

Lost Dog Found On Cumberland
At three p.m., a large, male, black, recently groomed dog was found on Cumberland. The dog seems to be a Portuguese water dog. It is very friendly and loving. If you are missing your dog, or know someone who is, please call the Verona Police Department at 973-239-5000. They have your dog.
