Volleyball’s ‘Dig Pink’ Fundraiser For Breast Cancer Tonight

dig_pink_beat_cancer_logo-285x300The volleyball teams of Verona High School and Cedar Grove High Scholl will be in the gym at VHS tonight, Monday, October 8, for their annual “Dig Pink” fundraiser to benefit the Minette’s Angels Foundation.

The JV teams will play at 5 p.m. and the varsity squads face each other at 6:30.

The money raised through the event allow Minette’s Angels, a Verona-based nonprofit, to provide assistance to those going through treatment for breast cancer and after treatment, promote breast health awareness and support research. The foundation also offers scholarships to Verona students entering the medical field, as well as Seton Hall University Nursing students.
