The 4-H will be re-starting its farm club on Thursday, September 13, at 4 p.m. Master Gardener Jane Kinkle will be at the club’s micro farm at Montclair Community Farms (MCF), 108 Orange Road, in Montclair, and will help the farm club to install a pollinator garden.

Club organizer Chrystine Gaffney, a Verona resident, says that on coming Thursdays in September, the club will help with harvests for MCF’s farm stand trips and prepare for the club’s fall fair on Saturday, September 29, at the Essex County Environmental Center’s Garibaldi Hall, 621A Eagle Rock Avenue, in Roseland. The club may also work to submit entries for the fair’s Cover Contest, which is a great honor to win.

Gaffney says the new families are more than welcome to join the club. New families should go to the 4-H website to register. Previously registered families should use the same link to re-enroll for the new club year.
