It’s going to be hot again this week, and we are all going to need cool places to ride out the heat wave.
One of those places can be the Verona Community Center: Town officials said today that the VCC will be available as a Cooling Center during normal operating hours. The building will open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
You can cool down in the first- and second-floor lobbies, and the town says other rooms will be available depending on their scheduled usage by other groups.
