OLL OktoberfestOur Lady of the Lake School and parish are gearing up for another eventful Kinderfest and Oktoberfest weekend this coming fall.

The 9th annual fall festival will kick off with Kinderfest on Friday, September 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. and then conclude with Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 29 from 6 to 11 p.m. The two anticipated events with fun for kids and adults occur under the great 25,000-square-foot tent at the Our Lady of the Lake Parish Montrose Avenue parking lot in Verona.

Kinderfest is a family-friendly event open to all ages and admission is free. Attendees can
purchase tickets to enjoy a variety of inflatable rides, carnival-type games and attractions.
Oktoberfest, a take on German’s traditional Volksfest will conclude the weekend of festivities. With the purchase of tickets, adults 21 years and older can look forward to an evening of entertainment, a full-fare menu of German foods and desserts, a variety of ales and wines and a 50/50 raffle where past participants (three winners) have walked away with up to $3,500. Not interested in 50/50? No problem: OLL’s Oktoberfest Tricky Tray has nearly 100 baskets of donated items including designer handbags, sporting tickets, spa treatments, household items, getaways, gift cards and so much more. Oktoberfest attendees must be 21 years and older.

Kinderfest and Oktoberfest continue to be the most festive events held in Essex County during the
fall season but most importantly the largest fundraiser for Our Lady of the Lake’s School and
Parish. It takes a village and would not be possible without the continued support of the local
communities.

Tickets for Oktoberfest are $70 per person and $80 at the gate. To learn more about
Oktoberfest or to purchase tickets visit: https://ollverona.org/Oktoberfest/.
