Verona artists take note: The township would like to show off your work.

Steve Neale, Verona’s director of administration and economic development, issued a call for artists today to be part of some new initiatives in town that will be focused on the arts, including pop-up art galleries. Pop-ups are short-term shops and installations that have been used in many towns and cities all over the country as part of economic revitalization efforts. Neale has been busy putting information on all the commercial spaces in town into a database. That will enable entrepreneurs to gather information on zoning and what permitting, but it also is helping Neale to see what spaces might be available for art installations.

The pop-up program is only in the early stages, but if you want to learn more, send an email to [email protected].
