The town government wants you to know that several roads in Verona are going to be closed for milling an paving beginning Monday, July 16, and running through Wednesday, July 25.

The affected streets are Newman Avenue, Wilton Terrace, Elmwood Road, Clover Lane, Maple Terrace, Howard Street, Cliff Street, Floyd Road, Afterglow Avenue, Pease Avenue and Montrose Avenue. If you live on one of those streets, you’ve probably already gotten a flyer in your mailbox asking you to move your car out of your driveway and over to a street that won’t be affected by 7 a.m. You won’t be able to get into or out of your driveway by car during the day while the work is going on.

Not every street will be affected every day. For the daily schedule, check the town website. You can call the Township Engineer’s office with questions at 973-857-4804. For a full list of all 2018 Road Paving Projects including PSEG see the map on the town website.
