May is Military Appreciation Month, and students at Verona High School have been doing their part to support the troops by collecting a wide variety of supplies to send to our military personnel.

The students are looking for things like all-purpose wipes, black socks and gloves, greeting cards and stationery, batteries, mini-flashlights, gum and mints, knit hats and scarves, flash drives and power banks, video games, earbuds, hand lotion, insect repellent, disposable razors, hand and foot warmers, sewing kits, lip balm and dental floss, and small tubes of sunscreen.

There is a collection box in the lobby at VHS, so you can give donations to your favorite high school student or simply bring them to the outer vestibule at the high school.

The last day for donations is Thursday, May 31.
