Mother Nature isn’t going to cooperate this weekend: With heavy rain in the forecast for both Saturday and Sunday, Verona officials have decided to postpone the Green Fair that would have taken place tomorrow. The township is working with all of the vendors that had agreed to participate in the environmental showcase to find a new date, which will likely be in September.

The paper shredding truck sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New Jersey Properties will still be coming to town on Saturday. It will be in the municipal lot by Chase bank from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no charge for the shredding, but the real estate office will be accepting donations to benefit Sunshine Kids, a children’s cancer charity.
