Pole vaulter Owen Fogarty cleared 13′ at the SEC Track & Field championship yesterday, taking first place with a new meet record and a new personal record for the Verona High School sophomore. In February, Fogarty broke the VHS boys indoor track record for pole vault at the Group track championship, clearing 12’6″. Saturday’s feat capped a strong performance by the VHS boys track & field team at the Newark event.
