Seton Hall University played a basketball game against Villanova on Wednesday at the Prudential Center but, for some of the spectators, it was all about the halftime show.
The Verona Competitive Cheer team brought a large contingent of elementary and middle school-aged cheerleaders to entertain the crowd. The VCC’s senior squad includes Kayla Brower, Sophie Besante, Abby Castillo, Abigal Cleary, Ava Evans, Jamie Gabriel, Megan Gallagher, Addy Garthwaite, Daria Gebbia, Aimee Griffin, Giselle Jandoli, Amelia Koellhofer, Gianna Napoli, Vincenza Palma, Caroline Swanstrom and Sabrina Toth. The VCC junior squad includes Danika Badan, Ella Barchie, Leah Byrnes, Laura Baglieri, Lauren Czupak, Quinn DeMilner, Anna Garnet, Josie Garnet, Callie Lareau, Brooklyn Leagon, Viviann Lodato, Jenna Papocchia, Devyn Quigley, Charlotte Roeland, Amy Sandoval and Isabella Sandoval.
