Staying in town for Presidents’ Day weekend and looking for something to do with friends? The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, located at 36 Gould Street, is hosting a wine tasting from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 17. Sample a wide variety of wines from Verona Wine Cellar and delicious hors d’oeuvres made lovingly by The Fruited Plain, the wedding and events caterer owned by Verona residents Rosemary and Drew Gabbe.
Tickets are $35/person and $60/couple in advance; $40/person at the door. Tickets may be purchased in advance online, or by check made payable to Church of the Holy Spirit and mailed to or dropped off at 36 Gould Street (across from HB Whitehorne Middle School).
