Kindergarten Workshops Start February 3

By on January 2, 2018

After it sets in that your child is about to enter kindergarten in the fall, be sure you’re signed up for the pre-kindergarten workshop at your Verona elementary school. The first of the pre-kindergarten workshops, for children who will enter kindergarten in September 2018, will be held on Saturday, February 3.

The purpose of these workshops is to give children the opportunity to meet their future classmates and become familiar with the school environment, while also allowing parents to meet each other. The workshop runs from 10 to 11 a.m. Parents are invited to stay for refreshments.

These workshops, sponsored by Verona elementary schools’ SCAs, are open to children who will be five years old by October 1, 2018 and are registered with the Verona Board of Education to enter kindergarten.
