U12 Boys Soccer Team Finishes In First Place

The Verona United Soccer Club U12-BW Boys Team defeated a tough Bergenfield team 3-2 on Saturday, November 18, clinching sole possession of first place. The dedicated and hard-working team earned an impressive 6-2-1 record finishing with four wins in a row in the Northern Counties Soccer Association B flight. The team led the division in most goals scored (32) and least goals against (16).

Team members include: (first row l-r) Dominic Houck, Gavin Moore, Will Waldron, Ryan Ruthman, Tony Mosaad, Evan Spong; (second row) Brian Cleaver, Andrew Healy, Leonel Andrade, Matteo Spain, Marcus Dunphy, Riley Ying, Tyler O’Donnell; (third row) parent coaches Doug Moore, Erik Spong, Bryan Healy, and Red Bulls trainer Dan Vitu.
