Are your kids into science, technology, engineering and math? The Verona Public Library will have a special program for STEM enthusiasts on Wednesday, November 15.
In “Dr. Stem presents Engineering & Design for Kids!”, former Verona elementary school STEM teacher Larry “Doc” Siegel introduces the engineering design process to young students who will build towers, bridges, egg catchers, gear trains and more. They will collaborate, brainstorm solutions, design, construct, test and present 3D solutions. No child is too young to think like an engineer.
The program, which is for children in grades 3 and up, will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Library’s temporary home in the Verona Community Center Annex, 880 Bloomfield Avenue. For more information, call the Library at 973-857-4848.
