Learn About The New Verona Park Playground

Workers have been demolishing the old playground at Verona Park. On Wednesday, the County will talk about what the new playground will be like.
On Wednesday, October 4, County Executive DiVincenzo will announce that two projects totaling $2 million will be undertaken to modernize the playground and tennis courts in Verona Park and create additional parking. The improvements are part of the County Executive’s ongoing initiative to revitalize the historic Essex County Parks System and ensure parks facilities continue to meet the needs of the community.

The event will be held at the Verona Park Boathouse at 11 a.m. and it is open to the public.
