Mrs. Patricia A. LoManto, 82, died on August 29, 2017 in Cedar Grove. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Thursday, August 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. A funeral mass will offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona, on Friday, September 1 at 10 a.m.

Born in Glen Ridge and raised in Bloomfield, Mrs. LoManto has lived in Verona since October 1967. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1953 and was an avid bowler all of her life.

Mrs. LoManto had a long career as a textile worker for Annin Flag Company for 25 years. She proudly served as president of the Textile Workers Union Local #220 – AFL-CIO.

She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Karow.

Mrs. LoManto is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years Anthony “Tony” LoManto, loving son Michael LoManto and his wife, Michele and cherished grandchildren Jessica Lynn Hart (Michael), Michelle Marie Hart (Brian), Michael Anthony LoManto, Jr. and step-grandson, Noel Stephen Baron (Shayn) and great-grandson Michael Joseph Hart, great-granddaughter Vivian Rose Hart and step-great-grandsons, Dash and Austin Baron. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Maryann Karow, nephew, Mark Karow and niece, Stephanie Karow Hale.
