Sustainable Verona To Show ‘An Inconvenient Truth’

an inconvenient truth On Tuesday, July 25, Sustainable Verona will show the final movie in its “Green Screen” series, the signature environmental film An Inconvenient Truth.

An Inconvenient Truth is a 2006 documentary about former Vice President Al Gore’s campaign to educate people about global warming. The movie won Academy Awards for Best Documentary Feature and Best Original Song, and has grossed $24 million in the U.S. and $26 million abroad. A sequel to the film, titled An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, will be released on July 28.

An Inconvenient Truth will be shown in the ballroom of the Verona Community Center, 800 Bloomfield Avenue, at 7:30 p.m. You can watch the trailer below. Sustainable Verona works with Verona’s municipal government and the Verona Environmental Commission to improve the environment in Verona.
