Mrs. Virginia R. (nee Sbarra) Boeck, 83, died on July 12, 2017 in West Caldwell. A funeral mass will be offered in Notre Dame Church, North Caldwell on Monday, July 17 at 10 a.m. Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home,
370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Sunday, July 16 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Boeck moved to Verona in 1969.
She was very active in the Verona community having served as Past-President of the Verona Women’s Club and Friends of Verona Library. She was also a long-time member of the Verona Student Educational Assistance Association and the Barringer High School Alumni Association.
Mrs. Boeck was the beloved wife of 50 years of Robert Boeck and loving mother of Peter Boeck.
