The 8U Verona Barnstormers Spring Travel team finished with an impressive undefeated 13-0 perfect season.
The Barnstormers beat rival Cedar Grove 11-5 in the semifinals and Randolph 12-3 in the finals to bring home the Mt. Olive Championship on Saturday, June 17. Led by their head coach Walt Szamborski, the team scored 158 runs this season and only allowed 42. Quite an astonishing accomplishment for a group of seven- to nine-year-old young ladies.
