MemorialCandlesMr. William J. Columbo, 87, died on December 28, 2016 at his home in Verona. Funeral services will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Tuesday, January 3 at 11 a.m. Visiting will be on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Born and raised in Orange, Mr. Columbo lived in Lyndhurst for 20 years prior to moving to Verona last year.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a troubleshooter at Dataprobe in Allendale for many years, retiring 10 years ago.

He is survived by his sisters, Margaret Columbo, Ann Columbo, Mary Abato and many nieces and nephews.
