Mr. Robert J. Masiello, Sr., 85, died on November 13, 2016 at his home in Verona. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Saturday, November 19 at 1 p.m.
Born in Newark, Mr. Masiello lived in East Orange prior to moving to Verona in 1961.
He received both his bachelors and masters degrees from Seton Hall University and worked for the Hawthorne Board of Education for 36 years as a teacher and principal, retiring in 1993.
Mr. Nasiello was the beloved husband of Johanna L. Masiello, the loving father of Lynn Masiello and Robert J. Masiello (and his wife, Beth Ann Bialoglow Masiello). He is also survived by his granddaughter Amanda Masiello and his brother Arthur Masiello.
