The Verona Music Parents Association would like to express our sincere thanks to the Verona Community for their support in making the 2016 Festival of Bands a success. A gorgeous night gave us the opportunity to showcase The Verona Marching Maroon and White with other high school bands from the surrounding area. The town’s support of this annual event and the community spirit that surrounded it shows us just how special it is to live in Verona.

A special thank you goes out to Mr. Erik Lynch, Mr. Ryan Wiemken, Mrs. Claire Ma, Mayor Kevin Ryan, Councilman Michael Nochimson, Mr. Joe Trause, Superintendent Rui Dionisio and the Verona Board of Education, Mr. Joshua Cogdill, Mr. Chuck Molinaro, The Verona Public Works Department, The Verona Police Department, Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Mr. Miques Valle and his wonderful crew, The Fifth Downers, Mr. Steve Rust, and all of the people and businesses who contributed items, money or time.

It takes a village to make any community event happen. We are proud to have provided the town with an enjoyable event that spans across all ages. We look forward to hosting this again next year, with bigger things ahead as our fields and facilities are continually improved. Once again, thank you to the Verona community for your support and thank you to the Verona music students for an amazing performance.
