Have you installed your car seat correctly? You’ll know for sure if you go to the free car seat check that is being held at the Verona Community Center this Friday, October 14, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Organizers of the event say four out of five car seats are used incorrectly, and that motor vehicle crashes are the number one cause of death of children over the age of six months in the United States. The proper use of car seats is one of the simplest and most effective methods available for protecting the lives of our children.
Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand Friday to educate parents and caregivers on the proper installation, fit and use of their child’s car seats.
