The Essex Photo Club will hold an open house on Thursday, October 6, at 7:30 p.m.
The special guest will be Dr. William Gutsch, presenting a program entitled “Photo Adventures Under the Northern Lights”. Dr. Gutsch is the past chairman of the Hayden Planetarium, a science editor at WABC and special science correspondent for ABC’s Good Morning America, the author of several books and an accomplished professional photographer.
The Essex Photo Club meeting will be held at 8 Academy Road in Caldwell. The club, which is headed by Verona resident Bob Thomas, offers a wide range of interesting programs for its members. The club meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month between September and May. The Essex Photo Club hosts lectures and programs featuring the work of local and national professionals, photo competitions, photo labs and photo-treks to well-known and out of the way locations.
