The Friends of the Verona Public Library are seeking donations of gently used books for their ongoing book sale. The Friends are in need especially of books for children and teens, such as baby board books, picture books, early readers, chapter books, and YA novels. Books for adults and CDs and DVDs are also needed. Don’t miss a chance to de-clutter your personal libraries while also helping to raise money for the Verona Public Library!
Every year the Friends of the Verona Public Library sell thousands of books during their on-going book sale and annual book sale in December. Last year over $5,000 was raised through sales of gently used books.
Donations can be dropped off at the Verona Public Library, located at 17 Gould Street, during normal business hours, which are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please let the front desk staff know that you have a donation, and they will direct you to the storage room on the lower level where they can be dropped off. Please do not leave books on the library front steps when the library is not open.
If you have any questions, feel free to email [email protected], or call the library at 973-857-4848. The Friends thank the community for your continued support.
