On Sunday, June 12, Verona High School senior Amanda Maguire represented the VHS girls lacrosse team in the New Jersey Lacrosse Foundation Jamboree and 38th Annual All-Star game, played at Madison High School.
The event features the best senior boys and girls high school lacrosse players. Players are divided into four boys and four girls teams. The Jamborees also feature the best junior boys and girls teams from the area.
Maguire played for the Spartans and had three saves in one half of play. She will be continuing her lacrosse career in college while attending Montclair State University.
