StatelyHomes-LibraryWhen photographer Andrew Wander moved to Montclair, he was struck by the beautiful and diverse homes in the town. Noticing a lack of books on the subject, he began a seven-year project that turned into Stately Homes of Montclair. This coffee table book features beautiful photography of 50 of the town’s most picturesque houses. There will be a slideshow presentation on his book at the Verona Public Library on Sunday, May 22, at 3 p.m.

Wander drove around Montclair, stopping at homes that caught his eye. “I started knocking on doors telling the homeowners about my project and thankfully 95 percent said sure,” says Wander. The book contains three chapters: Exteriors, Interiors and Backyards, Courtyards and Rose Gardens.

The slideshow presentation will be held in the Jack Foley Room of the Verona Public Library. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

The Library is located at 17 Gould St., Verona, NJ. For more information, call 973-857-4848 or visit www.veronalibrary.org.
