MyVeronaNJ-Lego1The Essex County 4-H is is starting a Lego Club in Verona this summer.

The club is open to children ages three to 12, and will be held every Thursday in July and August from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit. A simple $8 donation for the summer is requested to contribute to the use of the church’s Fellowship Hall. Holy Spirit is located at 36 Gould Street in Verona, which is across the street from the H.B. Whitehorne Middle School Track and the Verona Library,

Club organizers say children will explore new ways to use Legos with weekly themes and team challenges. This is not a drop-off program–parents are asked to stay at the church for insurance purposes–but parents relax in the church lounge while kids enjoy creative play.
