Forest Avenue Celebrates Earth Day
By Staff Report on April 20, 2016
Forest Avenue school kept its award-winning butterfly garden happy this past weekend by mulching the flower beds and putting in some new shrubs, with the help of its Wolf Scouts and Daisies. Forest students are also sharing how their families go green by participating in an online survey about their environmentally sound habits. A randomly selected participant in the survey will win a Sustainable Verona rain barrel and the class with the most participants will win $5 gift cards to Verona’s Green Point Juicery, which generously donated 10 of the cards.
