Mr. Stanley J. Lutz, 67, died on April 12, 2016 in Glen Ridge. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Thursday, April 14 from 4 to 7 p.m, with a funeral service at 7 p.m.
Born in Newark, Mr. Lutz grew up in Orange and moved to Verona in 1975.
He was the manager of Model Auto Body in Maplewood for many years and also the owner of Pondbusters golf ball retrieval firm.
He was the husband of Janice Lutz, the father of Nicholas von Lutz (and his partner, Tony Caruso), Linda Tsang (and her husband, Damon), Richard Lutz and Michael Lutz. He was the brother of Paul, Robert, Nancy, David and Joseph Gesell and the late Richard, John and Jeanne Lutz.
He is also survived by four grandsons, two granddaughters and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
