Mother Nature is not quite in a spring mood yet, so the Verona Baseball & Softball league is going to delay its opening day parade.

The parade, which was supposed to have been tomorrow, Saturday, April 9, has been rescheduled for next Saturday, April 16.

Just as last year, this year’s parade will not follow the traditional route. While past parades have marched from the entrance of Verona Park east on Bloomfield Avenue to Everett Field, this year’s parade will head west from the park to the lawn in front of Town Hall.
