The Verona High School boys tennis team notched its second win of the young season by defeating Caldwell 4-1 at home on Wednesday.
In first singles, Michael Knothe defeated Nick Lim 7-6 (7-0), 1-6, 6-4. In second singles, Wilson Hunsinger fell to Seth Frey of Caldwell 6-3, 6-1. Playing third singles, Austin Yee topped Spencer Travers 6-1, 6-3.
Brendan Carroll and Chase Kaltner were victorious at first doubles with a 6-3, 6-2 match and Brendan McNally and Henry Noren took second doubles 6-0, 7-5,
