Mr. Igor A. Pelse, 65, died on March 19, 2016, at his home in West Caldwell. Visiting is in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, March 23 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at The Unitarian Universalist Church at Montclair, 67 Church Street, Montclair at 11 a.m.
Born in New York City, Mr. Pelse grew up on Long Island and lived in Red Bank and Verona before moving to West Caldwell.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and was an audio systems consultant for Woodbridge Stereo, Park Avenue Audio, and Lyric Hi-Fi during his life.
Mr. Pelse was predeceased by his father, Vjaceslav Pelse. He is survived by his mother, Silvia (nee Arklins) Pelse, his son, Ian Pelse, daughter, Elena Pelse and sister, Marina Pelse Burns (Richard).
