Gautieri Honored By National Football Foundation

Racioppe-GautieriVerona High School senior football Captain David Gautieri (pictured here with VHS Head Football Coach Lou Racioppe) was honored on Wednesday, March 9, as a recipient of the National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame Award.

The Essex County chapter’s 51st Annual Dinner recognizes Essex County high school football players for demonstrating academic achievement, football ability and school leadership. Gautieri was a first-team All Conference performer and three-year starter for the Hillbillies, who were the back-to-back North 1 Group 1 champions in 2014 and 2015.
