Traditional Irish Music At The Library

mcdermottshandypresspixThe Verona Public Library presents a performance by McDermott’s Handy, an afternoon of traditional Irish music on Sunday, March 13 at 3 p.m.

Delaware Valley Irish Hall of Fame musicians Kathy DeAngelo and Dennis Gormley have been performing together as McDermott’s Handy since 1979. These talented multi-instrumentalists combine their strong vocals with Celtic harp, fiddle, guitar and tin whistle. Take a musical journey through Irish history with a wide variety harp repertoire, folk songs, and Irish music styles that tell the story of the Irish.
