Library Starts Book Discussion Group

DayOfTheJackalThe Verona Public Library is introducing “The Carnegie Club,” a new book discussion group. The first meeting will be Tuesday, March 22, at 7 p.m. to discuss the classic spy novel The Day of the Jackal by Frederick Forsyth.

The Day of the Jackal tells a fictional story of the real, infamous international assassin Carlos the Jackal, a mythic figure thought to have tried to assassinate Charles de Gaulle. As the clock ticks, will anyone be able to stop him? Read what happens!

Books are available on loan in advance for Verona residents. All are welcome! For more information, contact the Library at 973-857-4848 or email [email protected]. The Verona Public Library is located at 17 Gould Street, next to H.B. Whitehorne Middle School in the center of Verona.
