Author Betty Larrea will be at the Verona Public Library for a special Saturday Story Time on January 30 at 11 a.m. She’ll guide children on a whimsical journey using her own book, Lucinda’s Magical Yoga Adventure, as well as excerpts from some of her favorite children’s books. Storytelling comes alive as children pretend to be the animals and characters they meet!
Parents will learn simple, fun ways to create an interactive reading experience using books, music, breathing and relaxation to spark a child’s imagination and the magic of yoga come alive! Play and connect with your entire family at this yoga story time for children ages 2 to 8.
Betty Larrea is a poet, author and registered yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga to children ages 2 to 18 since 2001. She enjoys integrating yoga, poetry, art, music, storytelling, play and imagination to inspire kids and grownups to love and express themselves while promoting literacy and life skills.
