Verona resident Tom Sharkey, freshmen quarterback at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, has just completed his 2015 freshmen football season. For the first time in the history of the Bergen Catholic football program, the freshmen Crusaders finished with a 10-0 season.
Sharkey has also been invited to participate in two nationwide All-American bowls at the end of December. The National Underclassmen (NUC) All-American Week in Myrtle Beach and the Offense/Defense All-American Bowl in Daytona Beach.
