Mr. Gary R. Venner, 61, died on October 10, 2015 in Glen Ridge. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Saturday, October 17 at 9:30 a.m.
Born in Amityville, N.Y., he was a lifelong resident of Verona.
Mr. Venner graduated from Glassboro State College and was a sales rep for Metals USA in Newark.
He was a member of the Commonwealth Club in Montclair, the Knoll Golf Club in Boonton and was a devoted Giants and Mets fan.
He is survived by his beloved wife Jeanne (nee Gregory) Venner, his loving children, Gary R. Venner, Jr. and his wife, Jessica and Brian G. Venner and his wife, Shannon and grandchildren, Samantha Marie and Edward Paul Venner. He is also survived by his brothers William R. Venner and Steven Venner.
In his memory, donations may be made to the American Childhood Cancer Organization.
