MemorialCandlesMrs. Leona P. Quigley, 87, died peacefully on September 29, 2015 in Glen Ridge. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Saturday, October 3 at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Born in Olyphant, Pa., Mrs. Quigley spent many years in Bloomfield prior to moving to Verona in 1954. She was a principal clerk typist for the Essex County Department of Public Works, Roads & Bridges from 1974 to 1996.

Mrs. Quigley was predeceased by her husband, Howard in 1972 and her son Martin in 2008. She is survived by her children, Michael, John Bruce (Christine), Mary Pacifico (Frank), Juleann Anderson (Mark), Christopher, Jacqueline Allen (Timothy, Jr.) and Patricia Fitzpatrick (Thomas). She is also survived by her brother, Myron Prokipchak, her daughter-in-law, Diane and 15 grandchildren.

Memorial donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Lung Association would be appreciated.
