RedDevils2015The Verona United Red Devils U12 soccer team launched its fall 2015 season with a four-game sweep at the Kick-off Classic Tournament in Bridgewater this past weekend. Earning first place, the Red Devils outscored their opponents 19 goals to one.

“Effort was high. Seasonal objectives are a work in progress, but the boys are always willing to implement our plans,” said team manager Justin Marriott of the team’s performance. This tournament helped prepare the Red Devils for their upcoming A -flight season. “It allows the players to get match sharp,” said the coach.

When asked what he hopes for the team’s fall season, the coach said, “To play with style. Be difficult to beat.” The Red Devils will play their first season game on Saturday, September 19 against Kearny Thistle FC.
