MyVeronaNJ-Verona-Public-LibraryFor the first time the Friends of the Verona Public Library are hosting a clearance book sale from August 31 through September 4. Every book featured in this book sale will be 25 cents and five books can be purchased for just $1.

Mostly fiction books will be included, with top authors such as Patterson, Clancy, Grisham, and Higgins-Clark predominately featured. Nonfiction, children, and young adult books will be available for purchase as well. This is a fantastic opportunity for the public to purchase new reading material for rock-bottom prices! All of the books for sale were donated by the Verona community.

The sale will take place in the Jack Foley room in the Verona Public Library at 17 Gould Street starting at 12 noon on Monday, August 31. It will run throughout the week during the Library’s normal operating hours but will be shut down 15 minutes before closing. The Library is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Friday. It will end at 12 noon on Friday, September 4.

The Friends of the Verona Public Library raise nearly $5,000 a year from the sale of gently used books donated by the community. For questions about this sale and how you can help the Friends in its mission to support and promote the Library, contact President Christine McGrath at [email protected].
