For Father’s Day, the Verona Baseball & Softball League organized a Dads vs. Daughters Softball Game at Everett Field.
The VBSL brought together the 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U travel softball teams to play a two-inning game for each team’s players against their dads in celebration of Fathers Day. Ultimately, the daughters prevailed.
The games were followed by a pizza party, where over 100 people attended. The game took place after the VBSL hosted the annual School’s Out Summer Tournament earlier in the day at Everett and Brookdale Fields. The 12U Team took home the championship, and 8U the silver trophy on the day. (photo taken by Dave Johnson)
