toddler-scissorsDuring the recession, the weekend real estate report seemed to be filled with nothing but cuts to the prices of the homes listed in Verona. The numbers moved lower and lower, until it seemed as if they were unlikely to ever stop.

But they did, and listing prices here have been on a nice climb in the past 18 months. So maybe we were due for a bit of a correction, and we got it this weekend. There are eight homes with lower prices, several of which had tested the upper end of the Verona real estate market. When the Claridge I penthouse was first listed in May 2014, it was priced at $1,299,000. When 83 Oakridge came on the market this February, it was priced at $1,295,000.
