Mr. Joseph Peter Patti, 54, died June 4, 2015 at his home in Verona. A Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Monday, June 8 at 10 a.m. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m.
Born in Newark, Mr. Patti lived in Bloomfield and West Orange prior to moving to Verona 14 years ago. He was the owner of Joseph Patti Mason Contractor for the past 30 years.
Mr. Patti was a volunteer with the Verona Music Parents Association, the Verona Eagles and the Verona Baseball & Softball League.
He was the beloved husband of Deborah (nee Voelbel) Patti, the loving father of Anne Catherine and Christopher Joseph, the dear son of Salvatore and Josephine Patti and the fond brother of Albert Patti.
He is also survived by his in-laws, Fred & Kathleen Voelbel, Ann Patti, Stephanie Vanderhoof (Craig), Jim Voelbel (Peg), Fred Voelbel (Laura), Guy Voelbel (Trish) and nieces and nephews, Evan, Craig, Salvatore, Tara, Gannon, Austin, Connor, Savannah, John, Tucker, Matthew and William.
In lieu of flowers donations to the OLL Youth Ministry Program, 32 Lakeside Avenue, Verona NJ 07044 would be appreciated.
