I ran for Verona Town Council because I care about the future of our town. Verona’s tree-lined streets, small town atmosphere, leading public schools, great local shops and engaged residents make Verona a great place to live, work and raise a family. I am energized that our vision for a fiscally responsible government that is transparent and accountable to its residents resonated with so many people.
Last Tuesday nearly 27% of eligible voters in Verona cast ballots in our municipal election, representing a 20% increase relative to the last municipal election. This is an encouraging trend that I hope continues. We need participation – because every resident plays a role and has a stake in Verona’s well-being.
Getting Verona on track for a financially sustainable future will take a collective effort. I look forward to working with the entire Town Council, the town personnel and all of the great residents of Verona to tackle the challenges ahead.
