Mrs. Anna Marie Dente (nee La Russo), 90, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Glen Ridge. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Friday at 10 a.m.
Born in Newark, NJ, Mrs. Dente lived in Irvington before moving to Verona 58 years ago.
She was the wife of the late Michael Dente, the beloved mother of Rosemarie Brenneman (David), George, Michael (Brigette), Anthony (Marianne), Joseph (Donna) and Mark (Gina) and the late Bernard Dente, mother-in-law of Teresa Dente and the loving sister of the Salvatore La Russo. She is also survived by her grandchildren – Christopher Dente, Jennifer Torluccio, Michael Dente, Laura Dente, Joseph Dente, Marisa Dente, Anthony Arimenta, Alyssa Dente, Mark Dente, Natalie Dente, great-grandchildren – Mackenzie Dente, Gia Torlucci and Joey Torlucci and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Rescue Squad, 12 Church Street, Verona, NJ 07044 in her memory would be appreciated.
